Pastoral Care

Our core business is to develop well rounded individuals that nurture a global perspective; each sixth former is known by name, cared for, and offered regular guidance and advice in a supportive setting.

Our head of sixth form is supported by the head of year 12, head of year 13, and a sixth form co-ordinator, creating a strong team of staff leading the development and sixth form operations.

Students have a designated tutor who works with them on a daily basis, supporting them through all stages of their post-16 journey and onto their next steps, whether university, apprenticeship or employment.

At Bobby Moore Academy, the sixth form team ‘educates the whole child’, supporting our young people to achieve their full potential, monitoring their academic progress, removing any barriers to learning and ensuring the wellbeing of each one.
