Additional Funding - Pupil Premium
The government provides academies and schools with additional funding to help reduce inequalities and gaps in attainment between those students who are disadvantaged and their peers.
The purpose of Pupil Premium
We believe passionately that everybody is equal and that equal opportunities are part of our core values at Bobby Moore Academy. We will always strive to reduce any gaps regardless of whether they are social, academic or cultural to ensure every one of our students achieves their full potential. Our model of support for Pupil Premium students aims to address some of the challenges they may face and allow them to realise anything is possible in life.
Every academy and school can select how they choose to use their Pupil Premium allocation, as they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for students. Every school needs to be held accountable for how this money is spent, which is why we make details of how Bobby Moore Academy uses it available on our website.
Use of the Pupil Premium (and catch-up funding) at BMA
Available to download below is information and an impact report regarding how Pupil Premium funding and the impact it has had at Bobby Moore Academy.
This report also details the amount received and how we plan to use the funding (including catch-up funding) for 2024/25.
This Pupil Premium strategy and review was produced in November 2024 (a three-year strategy between 2023/24 and 2025/26). At the end of this academic year our Pupil Premium strategy will come under full review and published here by January 2026.
Our Pupil Premium strategy is under-pinned by research from the EEF and the strategies that have the most impact on improving student outcomes, well-being and future aspirations.
