Remote Learning Provision
Continuity of Education
At Bobby Moore Academy, we are committed to ensuring continuity of education for all students, whether in the classroom or learning from home. Our remote learning provision is delivered through Microsoft Teams (MS teams), providing a secure and accessible platform for all students.
How Remote Learning Works
When students are unable to attend school, they can access their lessons, resources, and assignments through MS Teams. Teachers deliver live and pre-recorded content, set work, and provide feedback, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.
Students can expect to receive a structured timetable that mirrors their normal school day, with opportunities to interact with teachers and peers through video lessons and chat functions. All lesson materials, homework, and resources are uploaded to Teams, allowing students to work at their own pace when needed.
Accessing MS Teams
All students have been provided with login credentials for their school Microsoft 365 account. MS Teams can be accessed via web browser, desktop application, or mobile app, making it available on a range of devices including school-issued laptops.
If you experience any difficulties accessing MS Teams, please contact the school office or email our IT support team.
Expectations for Students
During remote learning, students are expected to log in daily and follow their timetable, complete all assigned work by the deadlines set, communicate respectfully with staff and peers, and ask for help when needed through Teams chat or email.
Support for Families
We understand that remote learning can present challenges. If your child does not have access to a suitable device or internet connection, please contact us so we can discuss available support. Our staff are available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout any period of remote learning.
