BMA Student Selected To Represent Team England At The Commonwealth Youth Games 2023

We are delighted to announce that Bobby Moore Academy Alumni Noah has been selected to represent Team England at the Trinbago Commonwealth Youth Games 2023. Noah has travelled to the Caribbean islands to compete alongside more than 1,000 young athletes aged 14-18, from nations and territories across the Commonwealth in 110m hurdles.

The seventh edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games will take place between August 4-11 and Noah can’t wait to compete on the world stage for the first time. At the 2012 London Olympics, elite athletics superstars including Usain Bolt and Mo Farah trained and warmed up on the London Community Track which we train on daily in our PE lessons. Years later, we are so excited that one of our alumni who trained for over five years with us at BMA and with his club Newham and Essex Beagles; is helping to continue the Olympic legacy in the shadows of where so many Olympic medals were won by performing on the international stage in athletics.

Good luck to Noah in the competition – we are so proud of your achievements and we will all be rooting for you this August.
